Monthly Meetings/Webinars
are held monthly featuring knowledgeable professionals speak on current human resource issues and trends in a forum atmosphere. A nominal fee is charged for meals and reservations are required. Please see the Events
page of our website for details about upcoming events.

Sponsorship Opportunities are available throughout the year to members and non members. Monthly meeting sponsorships are available to members only. For information about sponsoring a meeting or to request sponsorship. Sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities at our annual conference are open to members and non-members. Other opportunities may be available throughout the year.

A Membership Directory lists local SHRM members' job titles, their employers, addresses, phone, fax, and email addresses.

Our Career Center lists current job openings and is a widely utilized and locally maintained resource.

SHRM and HRCI Certification  - The Lehigh Valley Chapter offers pre-approval for the majority of our events through both SHRM (SHRM-SCP and SHRM-CP) and HRCI (PHR, SPHR, and GPHR).  For questions about certification, please see our Certification page or email

Student Chapter provide us opportunities to develop future HR professionals. College students enrolled in Human Resource fields attend meetings and work on special projects. SHRM members also serve as speakers and consultants for student chapter meetings and events.  For more information, see our Student Chapter page.

The SHRM Foundation is a non-profit organization that operates as the research and development arm of the HR profession. The Foundation advances the profession and increases the knowledge of HR professionals through its funding of research, publications, and educational programs. The Lehigh Valley's chapter's goal is 100% participation from individual members along with the Chapter's annual contribution. A committee was formed in 1999 to promote the work of the SHRM National Foundation
