The Core of Modern Leadership:
Courage, Character, Commitment

Pam Varkony
Writer / Speaker / Women's Advocate

Modern leadership is not represented by buzz phrases like “corporate culture” and “customer centric”: At the center of today’s successful leadership are women and men who communicate authentically, treat the people around them with respect and civility, while building an environment of trust.

The presenter will explore the qualities that make us an asset to our organization and valuable to our colleagues.
Points to be covered include…
- How “all in” leadership improves employee engagement
 - Trust and Truth: The currency that builds organizations
 - Mother, Mentor, Coach: Developing and retaining top talent
- Recognize the big impacts hidden in small moments
-  Moving Past Old Models: Is positive thinking passé? Is motivation manipulation?

“The Core of Modern Leadership: Courage, Character, Commitment”, will challenge the audience to examine their inner most attitudes and their outer most professional interpersonal relationships. The goal is to create willingness among the participants to strip away old patterns and have the courage to replace them with a new commitment to engage others with sincerity, resulting in improved morale and a deeper commitment to their organization. Accomplishing these things is the essence of character in leadership.
