Human Resources Certification - For information about HR certification, please visit www.hrci.org. Please note that the majority of SHRMLV events are pre-approved by HRCI for re-certification credit.
Student Chapter provide us opportunities to develop future HR professionals. College students enrolled in Human Resource fields attend meetings and work on special projects. SHRM members also serve as speakers and consultants for student chapter meetings and events.
The SHRM Foundation is a non-profit organization that operates as the research and development arm of the HR profession. The Foundation advances the profession and increases the knowledge of HR professionals through its funding of research, publications, and educational programs. The Lehigh Valley's chapter's goal is 100% participation from individual members along with the Chapter's annual contribution. A committee was formed in 1999 to promote the work of the SHRM National Foundation
